Principal Message

 

I am honored to serve as the principal of Liggett Elementary School and to join this vibrant and diverse community of learners, educators, and families. My name is Yoshim Yang, and I am excited to begin the 2025–2026 school year alongside you.

 

At Liggett, our mission is to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their highest potential. I believe that strong schools are built on meaningful relationships, high expectations, and teamwork. Together—families, staff, and community—we will create a learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

Parent involvement is a vital part of this vision. Whether it’s volunteering in the classroom, participating in school events, serving on committees, or simply staying connected with your child’s learning at home, your partnership makes a powerful difference. I encourage every family to find a way to be actively engaged in our school community, because when parents and educators work together, students succeed.
