About Me

Hello! I am Mrs. Malina Rios.  You can call me Mrs. Malina. I have been working for the Early Childhood Special Education program for 27 years. I have been teaching for 22 years and still feel very passionate about providing young children with a positive first start in school!

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. I started out at several community colleges and then transferred to the university. I attended Cal State University, Northridge and received my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies in 1999. Then, in 2004 I received my Early Childhood Special Education Specialist credential at Cal State University, Los Angeles. 

I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year! I am so excited to be a part of the Liggett team!
