About Me

Hello Parents!

I have been a teacher for twenty-four years, and I am proud to say all have been at Liggett.  I truly believe that Liggett is a wonderful school for all children.  So much so, that I have chosen to have all three of my own children attend Liggett.

I look forward to working with you to ensure your child has a safe, enjoyable, and educational year!

Education:

I graduated form UCLA in 1992 with a degree in Political Science/ International Relations, with a minor in Business, and I received my teaching credential from CSUN.

Work Experience:

I have taught grades 1-5 multiple times in both Liggett's School of Advanced Studies and regular education settings, and currently serve as Liggett's Gifted Coordinator.  I also spent three years teaching special needs students as a resource teacher and three years as Liggett's Title I coordinator. Outside of the classroom, I currently serve as a tutor to Foster Youth in LAUSD's ASAP program.
